Ottawa Public Health continues to work closely with the Ministry of Health and Public Health Ontario, local infectious disease experts and health care providers to limit the spread of mpox in the community. Mpox is a rare viral disease caused by a virus usually found to be endemic in Central and Western Africa. Since May 2022, there have been cases of mpox in several countries where the disease is not normally found, including Canada. University Governance
A request, in writing, to their immediate manager is required for a professional development or education advancement leave.
